Manchester United player, Mason Greenwood’s accuser has now spoken out for the first time since he got arrested, MySportDab reports.
She broke her silence on Instagram to thank her fan after Greenwood was released on Wednesday on bail.
On Sunday, Harriet Robson made some shocking allegations against the striker, 20.
She posted photos and audio of physical abuse on social media.
Greenwood immediately got suspended from the England national team and Manchester United squad as the investigation continues.
The 20-year-old got released on bail on Wednesday ‘pending further investigation’ by the police on suspicion of rape.
Speaking out for the first time, Harriet Robson shared a post on her Instagram page.
It read: “I have grateful to everyone that has shown me support and encouragement, Thank You.
“The past few days have been very difficult, so i will be leaving social media for some time while the police continue with the investigation.”
She also announced in the post that she will take a break from social media until the the police finalise their inquiries.
On Tuesday, Greater Manchester Police then announced that Greenwood is now facing three charges of assault, sexual assault and making threats to kill.
England Coach Gareth Southgate has already ruled out picking him until the case is solved.
Greenwood has not played for England since he was disciplined for poor behaviour in 2020.
Manchester United in a new statement confirmed that fans will be able to exchange Mason Greenwood’s shirts for free.
However, United Coach Ralf Rangnick and the other first-team players have now returned to training.
