Anthony Joshua recorded his third consecutive victory in the ring in 2023 with a brilliant and superb display against Swede boxer Otto Wallin, MySportDab reports.

Recovering from his back-to-back defeats to Tyson Fury, the Nigerian-British boxer saw off Otto Wallin in a largely one-sided fight in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua was dominant throughout the fight, dropping jabs and blows on Wallin with intense effort.

Wallin was mostly on the defensive throughout the game as he tried to contain a more aggressive Joshua, who obviously out-punched him.

In the first round, Joshua got Wallin’s nose bloodied following a perfect blow that landed on the face of the Swede.

In the second half, a wobbling Wallin did little to curtail Joshua’s offensives as he came under more intense blows.

It was just a matter of time before Joshua took down Wallin before the final round as the pendulum of the fight was already swinging in his favor.

The bout got more difficult for Wallin in the third and fourth round as Joshua continued with his more dominant display.

After holding on for so long, Wallin finally succumbed to pressure after the fifth round as he was not allowed out from the corner for the sixth round.

Two powerful blows by Joshua in the fifth round sealed the win for the Brit by technical knockout.

With the the win, Joshua has now improved his boxing tally with 27 wins and 3 defeats while Wallin has just suffered his second defeat overall, and first by a technical knockout.

Joshua has now won his third consecutive fight in 2023 after back-to-back defeats to Tyson Fury.

Speaking after the fight, Joshua said he will not celebrate until he has become a three-time world heavyweight boxing champion.
