Man United are set for a what could be a dragging legal tussle with their former player Axel Tuanzebe, MySportDab reports.
Tuanzebe, who is currently playing for Burnley in the English top flight, has reportedly sued the club for ‘clinical negligence’ while being sidelined with injury in 2020.

Further details reveal the player is taking up a case against the club due to the alleged damages the injury caused to his career and has prayed the court for a €1million as compensation for damages.
His legal team are reportedly contending that United failed to properly handle the injury leading to complications and ultimately a blow to the player’s career.
Particularly, they have alleged that United failed to allow him enough time to rest and recover fully from the injury before calling him back to action.
At the heart of United’s struggles since 2020, has been reports of poor injury management for players, leading to a pile of injury cases.
Typical examples were Luke Shaw’s re-occurring injury cases and Lisandro Martino’s season-ending blow. Tuanzebe found himself among such casualties, resulting in depleted minutes for the Old Trafford club.
United will look to defend themselves against these allegations by Tuanzebe and risk losing €1million to Tuanzebe if found guilty.
Away from his Man United quagmire, Tuanzebe is pushing to return to the peak of his game. He has made five Premier League appearances for Burnley this season and two in the EFL Cup.
