Chelsea unveils new signing Pep Chavarria who completes his move this summer from La Liga side, Rayo Vallecano as a possible replace for Marc Cucurella.
The move comes after a long negotiation with Chelsea and Rayo Vallecano which wasn’t easy reaching an agreement for a transfer fee.
Both teams were on different value which delayed the whole thing despite the player already agreed personal terms to make the move to Premier League this summer.

The move was initiated by Xabi Alonso who was keen on signing the defender after the Premier League club were faced with the possibility of Marc Cucurella joining Real Madrid.
Alonso feels the player would be the perfect replacement in a position which they now have Marcos Palestra also played during pre-season.
All talks between Chelsea and Rayo Vallecano carried on for a while before an agreement was reached. Meanwhile, there were several offers that was rejected before the agreement was reached.
After they both verbally agreed on a deal, the player was quickly sent for his medical which took some time before it was completed.
An announcement was delayed as the London club put everything in place while finalizing their Asia preseason tour before making everything official.
Meanwhile, before this announcement, a video did leaked out of the new signing being unveiled by the club at Cobham.
Chelsea made the official announcement and unveiling today for a transfer fee of €19 million, plus €2 million in add-ons making it a total of €21 million.
Pep Chavarria had so much to say after signing his contract which is expected to tie him down until 2031 as a Chelsea player.
“I’m so excited to get started,’ he said. “This is a dream for me as Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“It is a big opportunity but I am prepared and will work hard to help the team achieve success.
“There are a lot of people who have helped me get to this moment and I have to thank my family.

“They have always supported me and today is only possible because of them.”
He is expected to join team training immediately as preparations are going on ahead of Real Sociedad match which is expected to be the final pre-season friendly.
Pep Chavarria comes in as another experienced player who isn’t signed for the future, but to immediately make an impact in a team filled with young players.
