Chelsea has decided to sack Liam Rosenior as their head coach after just four months of his appointment following Enzo Maresca exit.
The Premier League club have also appointed Calum McFarlane as their interim manager to carry on until end of the season.
Chelsea decided following their horrible loss which came against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium last night.

The Club officially confirmed today that they have parted ways with head coach Liam Rosenior, ending a tenure that was characterized by tactical fluidity but ultimately hampered by a lack of consistent results in the final stretch of the season.
Rosenior, who arrived at Stamford Bridge with a reputation as one of England’s brightest tactical minds, initially revitalized a squad that had struggled for identity. His emphasis on positional play and defensive solidity earned him plaudits early on.
However, a string of underwhelming performances with a premature exit from European competition reportedly led the board to believe that a change was necessary to protect the Club’s long-term project.
Sources close to the Club suggest that while Rosenior was well-liked by those incharge, the players felt the ceiling of the current system had been reached.
In a brief statement, the Club thanked Liam for his dedication and professionalism during a transitional period for the Blues.
The Club release a statement saying: “Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with Head Coach Liam Rosenior.
“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, we would like to place on record our gratitude to Liam and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.
“Liam has always conducted himself with the highest integrity and professionalism following his appointment midway through the season.
“This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season.
“Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam every success in the future.
“Calum McFarlane will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach until the end of the season with support from existing Club backroom staff, as we strive to achieve European qualification and progress in the FA Cup.
“As the Club works to bring stability to the Head Coach position, we will undertake a process of self-reflection to make the right long-term appointment.

Chelsea are expected to draw a long list of potential head coach who will be appointed when the season comes to an end.
Among the names mentioned is Andoni Iraola who recently confirmed his departure from Bournemouth and expected to be available in the market.
Chelsea and it’s board are expected to consider a lot as they want a coach that can blend into their system and also bring back the winning mentality.
