FT: Real Madrid 1-1 Valencia, Blancos Reach SUPER CUP Final! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Real Madrid claimed a final spot Spanish Super Cup beating Valencia 4-3 via penalties, MySportDab reports.

The game ended 1-1 in 90 minutes plus additional time which saw them both heading for the break and soon after penalties.

First Half Report 

Both teams came in strong in the first half of the encounter looking to ensure something good came out of the game between them.

Valencia didn’t come to joke as they were also fully prepared to come into the match with so much at the back of their mind which is more of winning.

The game progressed with more coming from Real Madrid who created some clinical opportunities going forward but it wasn’t good enough to cause any damage.

The opening goal for the game finally came in the 39th minute of the encounter which saw Karim Benzema scoring from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 for his side as it progressed.

The penalty was the only goal as the first half came to an end with Real Madrid taking a 1-0 advantage into the break against Valencia as they both headed inside for the break.

Second Half Report 

The second half was good from the away side of the game which saw them coming in with a strong determination to make a comeback.

Valencia didn’t waste much time coming back level in the game which saw a score from a wonderful finish to make the scoreline 1-1 in the 46th minute of the match.

Real Madrid failed to make anything else as the match dragged on into the 80th minute with just a few wasted opportunities on goal.

The full-time came to an end with both teams having to go in for the break so to return for extra time 30 minutes more between them.

Extra Time Report 

The first half of extra time failed to provide anything good for both teams who did all their best but no goal scored.

The same happened in the second half of the extra time which no goal was scored between the both of them.

Penalty Report 

The penalties was an easy ride for Real Madrid who finished the job beating Valencia 4-3 via penalty as they advance  to the Spanish Super Cup final.
