Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes scored as Man United beat Granada 2-0 in their Quarterfinal encounter in the Europa League first leg, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was almost evenly balanced between the two sides who showed quality going forward.
It took Man United 31 minutes to finally break the deadlock after a brilliant finish from Marcus Rashford to make it 1-0.
Granada were brilliant in defending until that goal came but they also did manage to make sure they didn’t concede much.
The first half progressed without another goal to report as it ended with Granada 0-1 Man United, which they both headed for the break with advantage to Solskjaer’s side.
Second Half Report
It was more of the same coming from the Red Devils in the second half of the encounter as they controlled the game a lot and also scored another goal.
Granada continued to make sure they got things under control while they go forward searching for the equalizer which proved very difficult to come.
Man United had so much to do in the encounter when it came to attacking and putting pressure on the Laliga outfit.
Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead for his side with the last few minutes to play as he scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.
The match finally came to an end with Granada 0-2 Man United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side claimed a massive first leg advantage.
