Nicolas Pepe scored as Arsenal were stunned by Slavia Prague late in the game as they drew 1-1 in their Europa League first leg quarter final, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was very poor from the two sides who were unable to score any goal despite the opportunities created.
Slavia Prague did very to make sure their defending was good enough to keep out the Premier League side from scoring any goal.
Arsenal also had some good chances to score but anytime they come closer their last touch always fails them as the game progressed.
The first half finally came to an end with Arsenal 0-0 Slavia Prague as they both headed for the break with a goalless scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half of the encounter wasn’t that bad as two goals were scored with one coming from both sides.
The match went on without a goal as Arsenal looked the better between the sides when it came to chances created.
Slavia Prague defended well until Nicolas Pepe broke the deadlock in the 86th minute of the game to make it 1-0 for his side with assist from Aubameyang.
The away side responded back with a goal in the 90+ minutes to make things 1-1 which came through from Tomas Holes.
The match finally came to an end with Arsenal 1-1 Slavia Prague which saw the away side taking an away goal advantage ahead of the return leg.
