Alejandro Garnacho alongside Marcus Rashford and Eriksen scored a brace as Manchester United thrashed Barnsley 7-0, MySportDab reports.
The Old Trafford club advanced into the EFL Carabao Cup next round after a sweet victory which also saw Antony hit target.
It was a good win for Erik Ten Hag which saw his side boosting their confidence after a convincing one at their home ground.
First Half ReportÂ
It was raining goals at Old Trafford where all the action in the Carabao Cup happened between both teams for 90 minutes.
The action started when Alejandro Garnacho set up Marcus Rashford who finished off neatly and gave Manchester United a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute of play.
Another goal followed after Barnsley lost control of things which saw them concede a penalty Antony stepped up and made no mistake in the 35th minute to make it 2-0.
The game became 3-0 in the additional time of the first half after Marcus Rashford assisted Alejandro Garnacho who increased things.
It was over in 45 minutes with Manchester United holding on to a 3-0 lead against Barnsley after an entertaining first-half match.
Second Half ReportÂ
More was seen from the home side who continued with the scoring and made sure it was all about them getting things done.
Barnsley were hit again with another goal from Gernacho who made it his brace for the night with an assist from Eriksen to make it 4-0 in the 49th minute.
Another one this time was Marcus Rashford getting his brace and assist from Garnacho again in the 58th minute making it 5-0.
It was far from over as Christian Eriksen made it 6-0 in the 81st minute with Bruno Fernandes coming through to make the assist happen.
Christian Eriksen also made it a brace for himself with a sensational goal in the 85th minutes which was assisted again by Fernandes to make it 7-0.
Manchester United ran riot as they thrashed Barnsley 7-0 at Old Trafford to make their way into the next round of the EFL Carabao Cup.
