Serbia football fans have been spotted violently assaulting a black man in the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany, MySportDab reports.

In viral footage that is making the rounds on social media (available at the end of this post) two Serbia fans, who apparently wanted to board a train standing nearby, lost their cool on the black man and violently assaulted him.

The assaulted man could be seen vigorously trying to defend himself as the two hefty men descended on him. Further details of the incident reveal the black man wanted to board the train as other fans but was stopped by force.

He forcefully tried to have his way, leading to the violent fallout. In the last scenes on the footage, the man was successfully stopped from boarding the train with his assailants joining others inside the train before it zoomed off.

It is not the first time Serbia fans have been caught out, losing their composure in the ongoing Euro tournament.

Before Serbia’s opening match against England, irate Serbia fans were seen engaging England fans in a violent brawl. They threw chairs on the English fans and it took the quick intervention of German riot police to wrestle them down.

Scenes like this calls for concern, especially in an iconic global sport like soccer which is built on immutable precepts of sportsmanship, mutual respect, and tolerance.

It is hoped relevant authorities will wade into investigation to apprehend the culprits and ensure justice is served both on the incident involving the England fans and the most recent with the black man.
