FT: England 3-3 Germany, Kai Havertz Bags BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Kai Havertz scored a brace as Germany held England to a 3-3 result in the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams did so well in the first half, which saw opportunities created but nothing could happen for them going forward.

Germany came into the match knowing the best they can do is just avoid being embarrassed with them having nothing much to lose in the encounter.

It was good for England, who pressed and dominated play but scoring a goal was very difficult for them to make happen as the game progressed further with opportunities.

The opportunities kept coming and going with nothing happening between them as they approached the half hour mark with still a goalless scoreline of 0-0.

The first half ended with England 0-0 Germany as they headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football that was played between them the game.

Second Half Report

The second half resumed strong, with both teams fighting so much to ensure they break the deadlock, which was still goalless.

England was going well for the game, and they needed a win at least to prove there was any hope of them giving their home fans something good to celebrate about.

Germany broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute of the match, which saw Ilkay Gundogan netting from the penalty spot to make it 0-1 in favor of the Germans as it continued.

Timo Werner set up Kia Havertz to make it a 0-2 scoreline for the away side, who became unstoppable going forward in the 67th minute.

Luke Shaw pulled one goal back in the 72nd minute with an assist from Reece James, making the scoreline 1-2.

Mason Mount’s beautiful finish drew things level 2-2 in the 75th minute of the game, which saw things returning to how they were in the beginning.

Harry Kane made it 3-2 in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot which saw the Three Lions gaining control of the game for once.

Kai Havertz netted his brace in the 87th minute making it 3-3 from another excellent finishing, which leveled things again.

The match ended with England 3-3 Germany, which saw them both settling for a draw after 90 minutes of football played between them.
