Frenkie de Jong has now responded when asked about leaving Barcelona for Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
The Netherlands played a 2-2 draw against Poland in their third UEFA Nations League match in June.
De Jong played the full 90 minutes for Netherlands and performed well.
MySportDab understands that Manchester United are still working on an offer to sign De Jong that Barcelona can accept.
United have made their interest in the midfielder very clear in recent weeks and Barcelona are ready to let De Jong leave raise some funds.
De Jong join the Spanish Giant in 2019 for £77 million but Gavi and Pedri are proving to be serious competition for the 25-year-old.
However, Frenkie de Jong has now given a shocking about his potential move to Manchester united this summer.
The Dutch midfielder was asked about his club future and his response was not expected.
The reporter asked: ‘Are you leaving the beaches of Catalonia for the cold of Manchester?’
De Jong laughed and said: ‘No. Hmmm. I don’t think I can’t say anything now.’

His response comes after reports that Barcelona rejected a bid of £60m from United for the player.
De Jong is Barcelona’s best hope of raising funds quickly to bolster their squad and United are expected to submit another bid.
For Barcelona, he has scored 13 goals and provided 17 assists in 142 matches across all competitions.
