Lautaro Martinez goal wasn’t enough as Inter Milan crashed out despite 0-1 win against Liverpool in the Uefa Champions League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had a fair share of the ball possession and opportunities in the first half of the encounter which saw them going close but nothing happened.
Inter Milan started well giving the home team so much troubles as they pushed forward with hopes of making something happen which could land them a fighting chance and coming back.
Liverpool did well enough to hold their ground as they also did provide some good goal scoring opportunities which didn’t result in anything happening as it carried on.
More opportunities with glorious misses saw them approached the half hour mark with the scoreline still barren between both of them.
The first half ended with Liverpool 0-0 Inter Milan as they were unable to make anything happen for themselves going forward after 45 minutes of football.
Second Half Report
The second half was a good one for both teams who gave it all their best to make sure it ended well for them, but unfortunately just one aide benefited.
Liverpool carried on with their advantage from the 1st leg going forward as everything was looking good despite the fight back which didn’t bother them too much as they had control of thing.
It wasn’t happening for Inter Milan until Lautaro Martinez scored in the 61st minutes making the scoreline 0-1 as the Italian side looked lively in the match.
Things quickly turned bad as Alexis Sanchez was shown a second yellow card seeing him sent off on the 63rd minute of the second half.
That had nothing much to do with the game as it finished with Liverpool 0-1 Inter Milan which saw the Premier League side advance into the next round with 2-1 aggregate.
