Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick as Bayern Munich thrashed Salzburg 7-1 to move into the next round of UCL, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a brilliant first half coming from the Bavarians who did well enough to score loads of goals going forward.
It took Bayern Munich 12 minutes to start scoring as Robert Lewandowski converted from the penalty spot to make the scoreline 1-0 for his side.
Another penalty in the 21st minutes from the Polish International which made it 2-0 against Salzburg who were totally ripped apart.
Robert Lewandowski once again in the 23rd minute of the first making the scoreline 3-0 and a hat trick for him after another stunning goal.
The match continued with more opportunities being created as another goal was scored by Serge Gnabry in the 31st minutes to make it 4-0 going forward.
The first half carried on with nothing changed as Bayern Munich headed inside for the break with a 4-0 scoreline against Salzburg after 45 minutes of football played.
Second Half Report
The second half kicked off with the same pace for the Bavarians who came in with more hunger in them to score more goals going forward.
Salzburg continued with nothing left for them to do in the encounter which was already far gone for them to find a comeback.
Thomas Muller increased Bayern Munich lead in the 54th minute after scoring to ensure the scoreline hit 5-0 against their opponent.
Maurits Kjaergaard scored with his left foot in the 70th minute of the second half which saw the away side getting one back with scoreline 5-1.
Thomas Muller made it 6-1 in the 83rd minute after another positive display coming from the Bavarians who couldn’t stop scoring goals.
Leroy Sane added another one making things 7-1 in the 85th minute of the match which was looking done and dusted as expected.
The match ended with Bayern Munich destroying Salzburg 7-1 to finish 8-1 on aggregate and advance into the next round of the Uefa Champions League.
