Barcelona Alex Putellas Wins Women Ballon d’Or Award
Barcelona women player Alex Putellas has been named the winner of the Ballon d’Or Award 2021, MySportDab reports.
The player helped the Barcelona women team to their Champions League triumph against Chelsea in the final which ended 4-1.
Alex Putellas had an amazing season from last campaign till date which has seen her helping the team breaking and setting records.
This award given to her comes as no surprise as it was well deserved after all her efforts with the Spanish side as they currently are the best team.
She beats the likes of Chelsea’s Pernille Harder and Samantha Kerr who were serious contenders for the award.
