First Half Report
A goalless first half encounter saw both teams holding out each other as the home side had more of the ball and couldn’t do a thing with it.
Sweden was okay to allow their opponent to hold on to the ball as long as they could easily deal with everything they throw at them going forward.
Spain knocked the ball around with them gaining as much as 90% of the ball possession but still they couldn’t make things happen with Morata missing an open goal.
More missed opportunities were the order of the day as they entered into the last few minutes of play with both sides doing nothing to change the scoreline.
The first half ended with Spain 0-0 Sweden as they both headed for the break without anything positive coming out of it.
Second Half Report
The second half started in the same fashion as it left in the first 45 minutes of the game which no goal was recorded despite numerous opportunities.
Spain was still the side that had things under control and still hoping to make something happen which was still not working got them moving forward.
Sweden did everything possible to avoid them conceding since they find it very hard to go forward and cause problems for their opponent who played better than they did.
The match progressed further into the last 10 minutes of more action from both countries as they were able to size each other out despite the one sided play.
The encounter finally ended with Spain 0-0 Sweden which saw both teams settling for a goalless draw and one point each after a poor game.
