Bruno Fernandes has been a key part of Manchester United’s progress since he joined the club 18 months ago.
Fernandes has already won the Manchester United player of the year for the last two years in a row.
He was also the main man during his time for Sporting and United in recent years but has not done much on the international level.
Fernandes proved his doubters wrong on Wednesday night in Portugal’s Friendly match against Israel.
Bruno Fernandes scored two goals and provided the assist for Cristiano Ronaldo’s only goal in the 4-0 Friendly match win for Portugal.
Fernandes has also nominated for another award in the Premier League after his second successful season at Manchester United.
The Portuguese scored 28 goals and provided 17 assists in 58 matches for Manchester United in the 2020-21 season.
Thanks to his performance, he has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year.
Bruno was also nominated for PFA Player of the Year, another prestigious award but Kevin De Bruyne won it.
