Portugal beat Israel 4-0 in their friendly game which saw Bruno Fernandes score a brace and Cristiano Ronaldo scored one goal, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The Portuguese ensured the first half of the encounter was theirs as they managed to score twice while going forward.
Israel were solid in the early stages as they took care of business at the back, which saw them dealing with some good attacks thrown at them.
Portugal continued to press on but they find it difficult breaking down their opponent who were good in defending in the match.
Bruno Fernandes scored the opener in the 43rd minutes after an amazing play which saw the Manchester United man making it 1-0 from a good finish.
Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead in the 44th minute with assistance from Bruno Fernandes to make the scoreline 2-0 with a stunner.
The first half came to an end with Portugal 2-0 Israel as they both headed for the break with an advantages over to the home side.
Second Half Report
We witnessed some good early opportunities that could have resulted to something for them but unfortunately they failed to hit the target.
Portugal remained the better side like they were in the first 45 minutes which saw them scoring twice and controlling the encounter.
Israel did create some good opportunities but their poor finishing made sure they couldn’t get anything good despite coming close to score.
More opportunities was created as the match progressed without any goal being scored which saw the encounter slowed down a little bit.
Joao Cancel made it 3-0 in the 86th minute of the match after the wing back scored with his effort going past the goalkeeper.
Bruno Fernandes wrapped things up with his brace late the match as it finished with Portugal 4-0 Israel which the Portuguese ended up with a big victory.
