Speaking to German Newspaper Bild, Werner again revealed his desire for a new challenge in another country.

“Bayern remain a top club, we never talk about it, and Hansi Flick has proven he’s a really good coach,” Werner said.

“But if a transfer becomes adamant, I would be interested in a move abroad than to Bayern.

“The challenge of another league appeals to me alot more than moving to another Bundesliga club.

“Of course, it is very important that there is always mutual respect as much as possible.

“It is one of the reasons I chose RB Leipzig at the time, and why I would choose a new club for my next step in another country.”

MySportDab understands Liverpool, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Juventus and Chelsea are still interested in Werner.

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool’s plans to sign Werner has now changed.
