Manchester United are ready to rival Chelsea and Manchester City for Leicester City Left-back Ben Chilwell, MySportDab reports.

The defender has emerged as a target for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ben Chilwell is valued at around £60million by Leicester City.

According to The Sun, A deal for Ben Chilwell to Manchester United will result in doubts over the future of left-back Luke Shaw at the club.

Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard were in pole position to sign Ben Chilwell as part of his summer transfer dealings after Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech deals were completed.

Frank Lampard still wants to sell some players like Emerson Palmieri to sign Chilwell.

However, Manchester City are also looking to sign the Leicester City player, as they look to replace Benjamin Mendy at the club.

Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his defence this summer, having failed to replace former captain Vincent Kompany.

Selling Chilwell would be a huge blow for Leicester City, as they bid for Champions League football next season.

It remains unknown whether qualifying for the Champions League would see Chilwell stay or still leave.

Chilwell graduated from the Foxes youth academy and has played 123 matches for the Midlands-based club.

His current contract at Leicester City runs until 2024, and he still has the possibility of following the footsteps of Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire.
