Andrew Robertson first half goal wasn’t enough as Jay Rodriguez pulled level which saw Liverpool played a 1-1 draw against Burnley, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Liverpool was able to hit one goal past a strong Burnley side in the first 45 minutes of the game.

It was just like another half which Jurgen Klopp’s side finds it hard to take control since the restart of the league season.

Erik Pieters almost made things happen for Burnley when he chipped in a pass but Allison Becker reacted quickly to save the ball.

Mohamed Salah alongside Firmino got back to back the opportunity to give Liverpool the lead but they couldn’t convert.

Andrew Robertson finally got the goal through an assist from Fabinho who chipped in a lovely pass inside the penalty area.

It ended first half Liverpool 1-0 Burnley as the Reds heads for the break with the advantage.

Second Half Report

The second 45 minutes started slowly like the first but as it went on, Liverpool got control of the game.

Curtis Jones almost got a goal when played a nice 1-2 with Roberto Firmino but the youngster failed to score.

Jay Rodriguez scored in the 69th minute to put Burnley back in the game 1-1 after an assist from Tarkowski.

Liverpool went on to create many goal scoring opportunities but Burnley stood firm thanks to saves from Nick Pope.
