Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Jorrel Hato who will join them from Netherlands club Ajax, MySportDab reports.
The deal was earlier said to be at the brink of collapsing over transfer fee value that was offered by Chelsea.
However, that isn’t the case as both parties never walked away from negotiations table which remain active.
Talks did progressed smoothly with player who already reach agreement on personal terms to make things happen.
The greenlight was given long ago but talks with Ajax was slowed down a bit as everyone needed to agree on a suitable deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed that an agreement has been reached for the defender who will take the next step with signing.

“Jorrel Hato to Chelsea, here we go! Deal in place with Ajax for fee in excess of €40m.
“Hato will sign long term deal at Chelsea as he only wanted to join Chelsea this summer.
“Medical and travel set to be booked for talented defender.
It is yet another done deal for the London Club who already have enough in their squad to compete.
The player will undergo the next step before an official announcement and unveiling will be made by the Premier League club.
