Tottenham Hotspur legend Son Heung-min could be plying his trade away from the English top flight next season, MySportDab reports.

The South Korean attacking midfield sensation is a priority option for MLS side Los Angeles FC.

MySportDab understands the 2022 MLS Cup champions have been on the trail of the 33-year-old as he nears the end of his Tottenham Hotspur contract.

According to Jacobs Ben, they are now advancing in talks to sign him this summer.

While personal terms have yet to be agreed, Son is reportedly open to ending his one-decade spell with Tottenham Hotspur for a new challenge elsewhere.

He has one year left on his contract and renewal talks have been on standstill hence his decision to leave.

Also, Spurs’ new manager Thomas Frank is understood to be less keen on the midfielder in his squad plans and is set to meet with the player to address his future.

Particularly, close sources reveal he (Son Heung-min) will decide on his future after the club’s pre-season clash with domestic rivals Newcastle United in South Korea on Sunday.

Following Harry Kane’s 2023 exit, Son became Tottenham Hotspur’s oldest-serving player. He joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has exhausted a decade of his career at the North London outfit.

The Chuncheon-born playmaker has won 333 Premier League caps with the team, scoring 127 goals.

He has tallied 34 league goals plus 25 assists in his last three seasons with the club and had played a crucial role in ending the team’s 17-year deadlock with the Europa League title win last season.

A move to Los Angeles will mark a fresh new chapter in his illustrious career.
