Tottenham Hotspur have announced Thomas Frank as the club’s new manager, MySportDab reports.
The London club confirmed the appointment of the 51-year-old as the club’s new boss in a statement on their website and social media handles.
The former Brentford manager replaces Ange Postecoglou in the Lilywhite’s dugout on a two-year contract till 2028 and is expected to hit the ground running with the Londoners.
The Danish tactician, who began his coaching career with Denmark youth teams before joining Brondby in 2013, is one of the longest-serving Premier League managers.
He joined Brentford in 2018 and led the club to promotion to the Premier League in 2019. Since then, he has kept the Bees in the English top flight and is renowned for his balanced defensive and attacking play.
Frank’s biggest selling point over his contemporaries was his depth of experience in the English top flight. Tottenham will hope to have him bring this bear as he resumes as the club’s manager.
Notably, his emergence as Spurs’ head coach marks a significant leap in his career. However, it also heralds a new chapter in his industrious managerial career.
Tottenham Hotspur parted ways with his predecessor despite them latter ending the club’s 17-year wait for a trophy with Europa League final victory over Manchester United and qualifying the team for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
