Manchester City winger Jack Grealish picked up another excruciating injury blow in Manchester City’s 6-2 victory over Luton Town in FA Cup 5th-round clash at Kenilworth Road, MySportDab reports.

A clutch City side came out top against Luton Town with a resounding victory. Erling Haaland bagged a hat-trick in the first half before a brace in the second to hurl in five goals for the Premier League and European giants for the second time in his Man City career.

Kevin De Bruyne, who struggled with a hamstring issue and was sidelines for months early this season, came up clutch for Cityzens as well. The Belgian playmaker provided a hat-trick of assists, and added another in the second half to take his assists tally for City to 11 in his 12 games so far this season.

In stark contrast to Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne’s five-star performances, it was a nightmare for Jack Grealish at Kenilworth Road.

Grealish, who had already missed weeks of action for City, suffered a fresh injury setback in the match.

The England international was heartbroken as he limped off the field just before halftime to the bench.

At the bench, a devastated Grealish could be seen tearfully hiding his face in his jacket as his teammates consoled him.

Addressing the injury blow after the game, Pep Guardiola said Grealish must have picked up another groin issue as he was complaining of groin problems.

”It might be another groin issue. He complained of pains on his groins. Hopefully, he can recover well,” Guardiola said.

Grealish’s injury heartbreak came hours after Pep Guardiola urged the Three Lions star to step up his game to regain his spot in the squad.

The 28-year-old picked up his first injury in Manchester City’s UCL clash against FC Copenhagen last month and has been out of action for weeks.

The FA Cup matchup against Luton Town was his first game after his recovery. He will hope to recover again to return to the team soon.
