Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace which saw Al Nassr secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Damac to officially clinch the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League title.

The win not only brings the trophy back to Riyadh but also marks a historic milestone for Cristiano Ronaldo, who ends his personal five-year trophy drought in emphatic style with a signature brace.

With Al Nassr needing a win to guarantee the title regardless of Al Hilal’s result, the atmosphere was electric from the opening whistle of the match official.

Coach Jorge Jesus’ side dictated a ferocious tempo early on, pinning a relegation-threatened Damac deep into their own half.

The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute. João Félix, who has been a revelation this season, delivered a pinpoint corner kick into the heart of the box.

Sadio Mané rose highest, outmuscling his marker to fire a thunderous header past Damac keeper Kewin. The goal settled the nerves of the home crowd and set the tone for a dominant evening.

Al Nassr doubled their lead shortly after the break in the 51st minute. A slick passing move initiated by Félix found Kingsley Coman surging down the channel.

The Frenchman showcased his world-class finishing, rifling a right-footed strike into the roof of the net.

However, football rarely follows a perfect script. In the 57th minute, Damac were handed a lifeline via a penalty.

Morlaye Sylla stepped up and coolly slotted the ball into the bottom left corner, momentarily silencing the stadium and bringing the score to 2-1.

Al Nassr won a free kick just outside the box. Standing over the ball with his iconic stance, Cristiano Ronaldo unleashed a strike full of vintage dip and power.

The ball whistled through the wall and nestled into the corner, restoring the two-goal cushion which made it 3-1 in the 62nd minute.

With Damac pushing forward in desperation, Al Nassr exploited the space. A counter-attack led by Abdulrahman Ghareeb ended with a cross to Ronaldo, who clinicaly finished his second of the night to make it 4-1.

The match came to an end with Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates going into deep celebration with their home fans after confirming themselves as the Saudi Pro League Champions.

With two goals in the match, Cristiano Ronaldo finished the season as one of the league’s top scorers. More importantly, he captained his side to their first league title since his arrival.

For Joao Felix, he didn’t get on the scoresheet, but his creativity was the engine of the team, providing the assist for the opening goal and orchestrating the midfield.

The final whistle sparked scenes of absolute bedlam at Alawwal Park. By finishing two points ahead of arch-rivals Al Hilal, Al Nassr has completed a remarkable season defined by attacking fluidity and defensive resilience.

For the fans, this wasn’t just a 4-1 win; it was a coronation. The 2025/26 season will be remembered as the year Jorge Jesus finally balanced Al Nassr’s star power with tactical discipline.

The 2025/2026 season is one that Cristiano Ronaldo added a Saudi Pro League medal to his legendary trophy cabinet.

Al Nassr finally made it happen after years of trying to win the League. The 4-1 victory against Damac was everything needed to set things right for Ronaldo since making the move to Saudi Arabia.
