Haliburton’s Historic Triple-Double Lifts Pacers Past Knicks, One Win from NBA Finals

Tyrese Haliburton delivered a performance for the ages as the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 130-121 on Tuesday night to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals, MySportDab Reports.

The 25-year-old guard recorded his second career playoff triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists, and a career-high 12 rebounds — all without a single turnover in 38 minutes. Haliburton became the first player in NBA playoff history to post a 30-15-10 stat line with zero turnovers.

“I felt like I let the team down in Game 3,” Haliburton said postgame. “It was important to come out here, be aggressive, and just make plays.”

Pascal Siakam added 30 points while Bennedict Mathurin chipped in 20 off the bench, helping Indiana bounce back from a disappointing Game 3 collapse.

The Pacers led 69-64 at halftime and pulled away late, with Obi Toppin’s three-pointer in the final minute sealing the victory.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 31 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 12 rebounds despite suffering a late knee injury. OG Anunoby added 22 points and Mikal Bridges scored 17, but the Knicks’ defense and turnovers proved costly.

“We tried giving him different looks,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said of Haliburton. “We just have to do better.”

Game 5 is set for Thursday at Madison Square Garden, where the Pacers can clinch their first NBA Finals appearance since 2000. The Knicks, facing elimination, haven’t reached the Finals since 1999 and are chasing their first title in over 50 years.

“You’ve got to give it your all,” said Brunson. “It’s that simple.”
