Actions in the group stages of Copa America 2024 continued in Group C on Saturday and Sunday with USA taking on Bolivia while Uruguay battled Panama.

USA 2-0 Bolivia
USA got off to a winning start in Group C with a deserved 2-0 victory over Bolivia on Saturday night.
The Greg Berhalter-led side aced their opener against the Bolivians perfectly, dominating proceedings to rake home all 3 points.
Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for the team just three minutes into the game before former Arsenal star Falorin Balogun doubled the lead a minute before the first-half break.
The two goals were enough to hand The Stars and Stripes a deserved as they settled for a goalless draw in the second half. The team will hope to continue on winning ways when they take on Panama in their next fixture on Thursday, June 27. Watch Video Highlights Below;
Uruguay 3-1 Panama
In the other Group C opener, star-studded Uruguay put Panama to the sword with a 3-1 victory to open their Copa America 2024 campaign with a win.
Araujo opened the scoring for the Uruguayans in the 16th minute. The goal was enough to send The Sky Blue into the lead at the break.
In the second half, the game took on a different trajectory with Panama pushing hard for a leveler. However, they suffered a fatal blow to their comeback hopes when Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez scored five minutes from regulation time to double the lead for the team. In the first minute of stoppage time, Vina, extended the lead for La Celes, scoring to make it 3-0.
Maurillo would later score a 90+4th-minute consolation goal for Panama as the game ended 3-1 in favour of the Uruguayans. Watch Video Highlights Below;
