Birmingham City have decided on parting way with manager Wayne Rooney after months of joining them, MySportDab reports.

The former DC United boss have once again been kicked out of another job after failing to make anything much happen.

Wayne Rooney is now a free agent after his contract with Birmingham City was terminated due to him unable to make a difference.

The Manchester United legend failed to make anything much of his time with the club which he took over 15 games.

He could only manage two victories from which the losses were more than enough to sink the team lower than they were when he took over.

The hammer was dropped following their 3-0 loss against Leeds United which saw all the fans turning in on the manager.

The owners had to come to a decision which they decided it was better to let him go as things aren’t looking good for them this season.

Wayne Rooney was given to task of bringing an era of ‘no fear’ football to the Championship side who wanted a change in play.

Things turned for the worst on what was seen as a calamity which have been put to an end following the sacking today.

Reports from Mirror Football confirmed the decision have been made as Birmingham City will go into the market for a new manager.

Upon the arrival of Rooney Birmingham City were languishing in the sixth position but unfortunately are now 20th on the table.

The Championship side have line up a number of names who could replace Wayne Rooney for the remainder of the season or on a long term plan.
