Manchester United survived an upset against Newport County in a game in which they finished with a 2-4 victory with two late goals, MySportDab reports.
Both teams did well enough but it was the Premier League side who had the upper hand from their end.
The Old Trafford club almost saw themselves committing blunders that could have sabotaged their efforts in the encounter.

The game was open for both sides despite the huge difference and gap in terms of quality and level of them on the pitch.
Manchester United wasted no time as Bruno Fernandes scored the opening goal of the match after teaming up with Antony who made the assist to make it 0-1 in the 7th minute.
Kobbie Mainoo doubled the advantage with an incredible score in the 13th minute against Newport County who couldn’t hold on to their defending as things were 0-2.
The home side pulled one goal back which came from Bryn Morris in the 38th minute as the encounter continued with the scoreline staying 1-2 between them.
Manchester United headed inside for the break with a 1-2 lead against their opponent Newport County who gave them a good fight in the 45 minutes but wasn’t enough.
They came unto the remaining 45 minutes which was also goals from both ends and the Old Trafford club was very solid enough.
Newport County leveled things 2-2 with a shocker which came in the 47th minute through Will Evans’s wonderful finish as they carried on.
Manchester United responded by restoring their lead from a clever goal through Antony which came in the 68th minute as things turned 2-3.
Rasmus Hojlund added another goal in the additional time which was able to secure the win as the scoreline was far away from the home side 2-4.
Manchester United completed the job by beating Newport County 2-4 to advance into the Emirates FA Cup fifth round which will commence in February next month.
