Arda Guler got off to a roaring start as he made his long-awaited debut for Real Madrid in Copa Del Rey, MySportDab reports.
Los Blancos traded tackles with lower division side Arandina for a spot in the next round of the Spain-wide club competition.
Arandina held Real Madrid to a goalless draw in the first half but it was a rain of goals in the second half.
Joselu opened the scoring for the La Liga title hopefuls with a 54th-minute strike from the spot.

Before regulation time, Brahima Diaz struck again to bag his brace and make it 3-0 before Arandina bagged their consolation goal two minutes later in the 93rd minute.
The match ended with Real Madrid cruising to a comfortable 3-1 win after first half scare to progress to the next round of the competition.
Last summer’s signing from Fenerbahce, Arda Guler made the headlines in the game with his sparkling and promising debut for the club.
Guler was a constant threat for Arandina with his perfect touches, creative passes, and dribbling skills. He even came close to etching his name into Real Madrid story books with a near-miss freekick that bounced off the woodwork.
