AFCON 2023: Senegal 3-0 Gambia, Camara Net BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Lamine Camara scored a brace as Senegal kicked off their AFCON title defense with a 3-0 win over Gambia, MySportDab reports.

It was an easy one for the Champions who outclassed their opponent who couldn’t make much come to play going forward.

Gueye was amongst the goal scorers which saw the Gambians playing most of the match with one player down after a straight red card.

The Champions of AFCON came into the match with so much expectations which were met by how they approached everything.

Senegal wasted no time in taking the lead in the 4th minutes after an amazing display which saw Sadio Mane setup Pape Gueye who scored to make things 1-0.

Gambia did well enough despite conceding an early goal which saw them setting up a good defensive wall against everything that came at them.

Adams made things more difficult for the Gambians after getting into am incident which saw him getting a red card with few moments to ending of first half.

Senegal headed for the break with 1-0 and one player advantage against Gambia who couldn’t hold themselves together after conceding one goal.

The second half was one sided which was all about the Champions making light work of things which was fully in their advantage.

Senegal added another goal in the 52nd minutes which was scored by Lamine Camara who ensure the advantage was double with 2-0 as they pushed on.

Gambia held on fine but it was just on a thread as they kept on dealing with so much coming from their opponent who wanted to score more goals.

Lamine Camara made it a brace for himself and the scoreline 3-0 with another stunning goal which came in the 86th minute ensuring it was a done job.

Senegal claimed the 3-0 victory against Gambia making sure it was a good start to their AFCON title defense with a clean sheet in the bag.
