Spain thrashed Georgia 1-7 in their European Championship qualifications match with Morata hattrick, MySportDab reports.
Alvara Morata was able to score three goals for the Spanish national team who were unstoppable all through the entire encounter.
The match was one-sided all through with the visitors making the most of the entertaining encounter.
Georgia had it good in the early minutes of the match which saw them doing well that they did not concede for the first 20 minutes.
Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute which came from Alvaro Morata who made the scoreline 0-1 with a stunner as they progressed.
Another goal came in the 27th minutes of the match and this time it was an own-goal scored by Solomon Kvirkvelia which made it 0-2.
The game was fast going as another goal made things 0-3 in the 38th minutes which was scored by Dani Olmo as they continued.
Alvaro Morata made it his brace in the game which was scored in the 42nd minutes of the match making things 0-4 between them.
Spain ended the first half with 4 goals scored already against Malta who couldn’t stand the pressure all through the 45 minutes.
The second half kicked off with more goals coming in as Solomon Kvirkvelia pulled one goal back in the 49th minutes making things 1-4.
Georgia did not get the opportunity to celebrate much until another goal was scored by the away side in the 66th minutes through Alvaro Morata who made it 1-5.
Spain dominated things with Morata getting his hattrick which opened more way as another goal was scored by Nico Williams in the 68th minutes to make it 1-6.
The game provided another goal yet again in the 74th minutes through Lamine Yamal who was able to make things 1-7 pushing on.
Spain ended the match claiming a 1-7 victory against Georgia in another European Championship qualifications match for 2024.
