Manchester United have unveiled their 2023/24 away kit as the club prepares for next season’s campaign, MySportDab reports.
The kit (photos available at the end of this post) is a big departure from Manchester United traditional red colors and features modern fabric tech innovations and glowing blend of colours.
As usual, the kit features Manchester United badge on the left side of the chest region while Adidas logo is on the right chest region.
The club’s shirt sponsor, Team Viewer, is boldly scripted on the front side of the shirt.
Designed by Adidas, the kit is predominantly black but has several strips of white linings on the main body and other areas.
The while lining is used on sleeves on the shoulder region and also on the rims of the collar.
A club statement released at the launch of the new kit says the new kit is a renaissance of the club’s iconic strips two decades ago and a homage to the history of the club.
The shirt incorporate modern fabric tech innovations deployed to ensure maximum comfort for the players while in action with the jersey.
The on-field version of the kit features the HEAT.RDY technology that allows sweats to easily evaporate off to keep the player cool and comfortable throughout play.
Reacting to the new away kit, Manchester United fans seemed put off by the design of the kit.
A fan wrote, “absolute garbage,”
Another fan added, “this is so bad.”
Another fan wrote, ”Awful, not as bad as Arsenal though.”
The new shirt is available for purchase on Man United’s online store, United Direct with varying prices for both off-field and on-field versions.
