Premier League giants, Liverpool, have opened talks with PSG to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, MySportDab reports.

Mbappe has been linked to top Premier League clubs following his clash with PSG hierachy over contract renewal.

Kylian Mbappe stunned PSG with a controversial letter informing the club he will not renew his contract – a decision PSG have rejected.

PSG believe Mbappe has reached a secret agreement with Real Madrid to join the La Liga side on a free transfer after the upcoming 2023/24 season hence the French giants are determined to sell him this summer instead of losing him on a free transfer.

Mbappe has been axed off PSG squad and placed on the transfer market for suitors interested in signing the player.

Saudi club Al Hilal have submitted a record £259m bid to PSG for the 24-year-old which has been accepted by PSG.

Mbappe has also been offered a record €200m for a one-year deal which will allow him to leave to Real Madrid after next season.

MySportDab understand Kylian Mbappe is not ready to enter into negotiations with Al Hilal and will not agree terms with the club.

Now, Liverpool have weighed heavily into the contract standoff with between the French star and PSG and are ready to sign the player this summer.

According to the Mirror, Liverpool have opened talks with PSG to sign Kylian Mbappe on a season-long loan deal this summer.

The Premier League giants are ready to foot Mbappe’s wages during the loan spell while offering him a chance to move to Real Madrid when the loan tenure expires.

The move will take off Mbappe’s wages off PSG’s wage books but PSG will not likely accept the loan move as they are more interested in outright sell to get back their £151m transfer fee expended on the player in 2018.
