Barcelona wrapped up their preseason tour in the US with a win over AC Milan, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The LaLiga champions ruled the game from the start but could not find the back of the net.

Both sides battled it out with a strong display coming across a slew of chances.

AC Milan played second fiddle to the Laliga giants but maintained a good attacking flair with a number of attempts but were frequently coming under pressure by Barcelona.

The Catalans would have killed the game with several chances after breaking into the opponent’s half but squandered them with ease.

The match went more physical with both sides brandished with yellow cards in the first half.

The first half ended barren as AC Milan held their nerves to end the first 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

Barcelona made a series of early substitutions in the second half as they tried to put the Italian outfit to the sword.

De Jong was brought in for Lopez, Balde for Alonso, Ansu Fati for Abde, Robert Lewandwoski for Ferran Torres, and Sergio Roberto for Pedri.

They continued on their dominant display after the early substitutions but could not break the goal deadlock until the 55th minute when Ansu Fati gave the club the lead with an assist from Balde.

After Ansu Fati’s goal, AC Milan made many substitutions in the game but could not turn over the tie.

Barcelona maintained their narrow 1-0 lead till the final minutes and had chances to double the lead but could not make them count.

AC Milan also gave a good account of themselves with a stronger display but could not twist the outcome of the tie.

The match ended with Barcelona grabbing a deserved 1-0 win after the final whistle.
