Newcastle United have reached personal agreement to sign Sandro Tonali this summer, MySportDab reports.

Tonali, 23, plays as a defensive midfielder for Serie A giants AC Milan but will be hoping to complete a move to the Premier League this summer.

Newcastle have been on the trail of the midfielder as they prepare to bolster the squad ahead of Premier League and Champions League football next season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle have finally reach agreement on personal terms with Sandro Tonali as they close up on a deal for the player soon.

Fabrizio Romano said;

“Sandro Tonali and Newcastle have now reach agreement on personal terms for €8m salary net per season and €2m add-ons.

“Contract will be valid until June, 2026. Waiting for the two clubs to complete their final agreement on €70m deal structure/add-ons.”

Tonali started his professional career with Brescia in 2017 and has been making inroads on his career.

He joined AC Milan first on loan from Brescia in 2020. After an impressive debut season, his loan move was made permanent by the club.

He has gone ahead to make 70 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals.

Tonali made his debut for Italy national team in 2019 and has won 14 caps with the team.

Newcastle United are yet to put finishing touches to the deal with negotiations with AC Milan to take center stage after personal terms has now been settled.

Should Newcastle complete a move for the youngster, it will be a big addition to the team as they stand to benefit from his experience in Italy topflight.

He is known for his coordination, speed, and creativity at the midfield
