The Glazers ‘preferred bidder for Manchester United’ has been revealed, MySportDab reports.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al-Thani has been the two frontliners in the race to take over Manchester United.

With contrasting offers from the two bidders, reports have emerged the Glazers’ have their ‘preferred bidder’ to sell the club to.

According to The Sun, the Glazers are set to identify Sir Jim Ratcliffe as their preferred bidder to sell the club to.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants majority share at Manchester United with the Glazers still having a share of minority stake.

However, a ‘secret buyout clause’ which could be activated in 2026 has been attached to his offer.

His bid has been unpopular with Manchester United fans who wants the Glazers to exit the club totally.

Ratcliffe’s rival, Sheikh Jassim want a full takeover of the club with the Glazers bought out of the club.

As thing stands, Ratcliffe may likely emerge as new Manchester United with the bidding process gathering momentum.

The new development in the takeover process may likely bring Manchester United fans back to the lanes of protests as the Glazers prefer Ratcliffe who will keep them at the club at least for a while against the call of the fans.

Manchester United takeover has dragged since the Glazers announced the decision to sell the club in November last year.

However, there is an optimism the takeover process may likely be concluded at the end of the summer.
