Chelsea has reached an agreement and unveiled Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a record fee, MySportDab reports.

The deal has been completed between both clubs who were going through a meeting that lasted for hours in Portugal.

Chelsea has their target after so much work put in just to make sure an agreement is reached to sign Enzo Fernandez.

The Premier League had their initial bid rejected after taking the bold step over other suitors who were not willing to go high in their offer.

Liverpool was amongst the teams but they dropped out of the race knowing how difficult the deal was looking.

Meanwhile, Chelsea also made another offer which was once again turned on by Benfica who want a full request of their asking price.

Reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano can confirm that an agreement has been reached between Chelsea and Benfica for Enzo Fernandez.

Following a late agreement reached between them, the player also completed his medical and has now been unveiled today.

Here Is What He Said:

“I am so grateful to Chelsea and its ownership for doing everything they could to make me a part of this project”.

“I’m happy and excited to join the Pride of London”.

The agreement for the deal is worth €121 million which Chelsea paid to Benfica for the move to happen.

The contract which was signed in until 2031 will see the player be priced out of the market for a very long time knowing he could be their biggest buy.

Enzo Fernandez makes it the biggest deal for Chelsea in a January window and also in their history which cost them £115 million.

The move is now awaiting medical which will be carried out as other things will be processed for the deal to become fully official before the deadline.
