Chelsea have convened a crisis meeting on Graham Potter following the poor run of results at the club, MySportDab reports.

The Blues are currently 10th on the Premier League table with 31 points and are 11 points from the fourth-placed team Tottenham with 42 points.

They have struggled with a poor run of results this season which climaxed in a shock home defeat to bottom-placed team Southampton.

Ward-Prowse’s first-half stoppage-time strike against the run of play handed the Saints all three points against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

Graham Potter has come under pressure from Chelsea fans as the club struggled in the Premier League.

In Chelsea history, he is the only manager with the least win percentage. In his 17 games in charge since taking over five months ago, Potter has managed only 5 wins, losing 6 and drawing 6.

This series of abysmal performance comes despite the almost £600m that was expended by the club in bringing in new players and too stars in the summer and winter transfer windows.

There are reports the under pressure gaffer has backing of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, but it appears the hand of the club’s hierachy may be forced as Potter’s underwhelming performance continued.

According to Evening Standard, Chelsea have now convened a crisis meeting with Graham Potter and his staff to arrest the dwindling fall in the club’s performance.

The  meeting was convened by the club’s new sporting director, Christopher Vivell, who had reportedly desired a change of misfortunes of the club.

Todd Boehly was reportedly absent from the meeting, underscoring his unyielding stance to back the former Brighton manager despite his poor run of form.
