Brighton have taken a shock step on Chelsea and Arsenal transfer target Moises Caiedo after his transfer rant on Instagram, MySportDab reports.
The Ecuadorian and Brighton midfield sensation took to his Instagram to tender a public appeal to Brighton, asking to leave the club amid Chelsea and Arsenal interest.
MySportDab understands Moises Caicedo is trying to force through a move to one of the two big clubs in the Premier League, who have indicated interest in the midfielder.
Premier League leaders Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in Moises Caicedo and have made offers to Brighton to sign the player.
Chelsea have submitted a £55million bid for Caicedo which was rejected by Brighton, while Arsenal have submitted a £60million which has also been turned down by the Seagulls.
Brighton are currently unmoved in their ‘no-sale decision’ and are reportedly not ready to lose the midfielder after selling Leandro Trossard to Arsenal.
Reacting to Brighton’s unyielding stand, Moises Caicedo begged the club to allow him leave, amidst report he was considering handing the club a transfer request.
Caicedo wrote on his Instagram page on Friday, ”
‘I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream has always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
‘I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
‘The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.’
Following his Instagram rant, Daily Mail reports Brighton have asked the 21-year-old to STAY AWAY from the club’s training ground, and will not include him in the FA Cup clash against Liverpool on Sunday.
As things stand, Moises Caicedo may not get the chance to join either of the two clubs vying for his services in the summer if this opportunity slides off because of the planned race to land West Ham’s midfield sensation Declan Rice in the summer
Hence, the 21-year-old is reportedly considering handing in a transfer request to force through a move, with the transfer window closing three days from now.
The Brighton star has made 28 appearances for Ecuador and still has two years remaining in his Brighton contract.
