Barcelona claimed a 0-1 victory against Girona in a laliga Santander match to remain number one, MySportDab reports.
Pedri was on target once again as he goal was enough to see his side go six points clear off Real Madrid.
First Half Report
Incredible stuff was seen mostly from the home side who managed to stay in the game all through the first half which was so much of pressure for them.
Girona came in the match hoping to cause some damages to their opponent chances of going more points clear on top of the laliga table.
It wasnt an easy half for Barcelona who couldn’t score any goal despite all the opportunities they had going forward as the game was slipping so fast for them.
Nothing else changed with the scoreline which was still 0-0 hitting the 40th minute with a lot of opportunities for them but nothing happened.
Girona held Barcelona to a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes of football between the both of them which wasn’t an easy task coming from the home side.
Second Half Report
The second half had a lot of promises coming from both ends in the early minutes as they did have their moments but couldn’t make it all count.
Girona maintained their excellent work defending in the early stages, but they also had their moment but they just couldn’t make it count.
Barcelonwasre good going forward until Pedri scored in the 61st minute making it 0-1 which came after a long work and fight from them.
The game had nothing much coming from both teams who couldn’t make anything of their opportunities against themselves despite how they came close on some occasion.
The match came to an end with Barcelona claiming a 0-1 victory against Girona which puts them six points clear of Real Madrid for the moment.
