Egypt hammered World number two Belgium 1-2 in a friendly match preparations for Qatar, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter wasn’t that bad with both teams doing the best they can to make something happen in the match.

Belgium started well by pressurizing their opponent who was all playing deep back and doing everything to make sure they did not all the devil to make anything happen in the game.

Egypt had some opportunities of their own which saw the Egyptians going close and the goalkeeper did well enough to make sure he is not exposed from going down in the game.

Mostafa Mohamed scored the lead for the away side for the match which saw them taking a 0-1 advantage going forward in the 34th minute of the encounter.

The first half came to an end with Egypt taking a 0-1 advantage against Belgium who couldn’t make anything happen despite all their pressing and attacking in the 45 minutes of the game.

Second Half Report

The second half of the match was a much better one for both teams who were able to make something happen from their end which was entertaining.

Egypt doubled their advantage in the 46th minute of the game which saw Trezeguet finally making it count in the match after missing a couple of opportunities in the first half.

Belgium pulled one goal back in the 76th minute of the game which saw Lois Openda netting from a wonderful finish which Yannick Carrasco make the assist to put things 1-2.

Nothing else came to play in the match which carried on completing the 90th minute and extra time left to be played between both teams which the Belgians were pressing more.

The match came to an end with the Pharaohs beating the world number two Belgium 1-2 which for Egypt is another big win for them knowing it wasn’t an easy game.
