Aston Villa have officially unveiled new manager Unai Emery who join them from Villarreal, MySportDab reports.
Unai Emery takes over following the sack of Steven Gerrard who was unable to produce good results which led to a decision being made on him leaving.
Aston Villa had initially announced the signing of their new manager but there were still some paper works which needed to be done.
Unai Emery is now official and will be taking part of his first game as Villa manager during the weekend Premier League match.
The manager resumes his duties today having arrived at the club following his work permit being completed.
Unai Emery will be hoping to revive the team which is currently not doing so well despite the changes.
Aston Villa lost their last game against Newcastle United which was a whitewash for them as they couldn’t make anything happen.
The incoming manager has a lot on his hands to do in their next game which is when everything begins for him.
His last time in the English Premier League was as manager of Arsenal football club where he was sacked due to bad performance.
Aston Villa are now hoping he will be the man to turn things around at the Villa park for the remainder of the season.
