FT: Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona, Benzema Strikes In El Classico (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)
Goals from Karim Benzema alongside Valverde and Rodrygo saw Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 in the El Classico, MySportDab reports.
First Half Reports
The first half of the encounter between both teams was filled with a lot of talking points which the game also had some entertainments.
Barcelona held on fine in the first 10 minutes of the game which saw them doing so much to make something happen but it all resulted in noting good.
Real Madrid scored the opening goal in the 12th minute of the game which saw them taking the lead after pressing and they final got what they need as things turned 1-0.
More was seen from the two teams who were heavily pushing in the match until Federico Valverde made it happen for his side in the 35th minute making the game 2-0 as it carried on going forward.
That goal was enough and that was how the first half ended with Real Madrid taking a 2-0 lead into the break after 45 minutes of football played against Barcelona.
Second Half Reports
There was so much which came in the second half of the match which had both teams hitting the back of the net this time around.
Real Madrid were comfortable with their lead as they did everything good at the back to make nothing went past them while they also push a bit forward.
Barcelona pulled one goal back from Ferran Torres who made it 2-1 in the 83rd minute of the game with the assist coming from Robert Lewandowski.
The home side scored a late penalty in the 90th minute plus added time which came from Rodrygo who finished off neatly to make it 3-1.
The match ended with Real Madrid claiming a 3-1 victory over Barcelona in the El Classico which was an amazing 90 minutes of football coming from both teams.
