Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has now given a very strong warning to striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, MySportDab reports.

Arteta has revealed that he could axe Aubameyang from his starting XI after his agent accusations.

Aubameyang has not impressed as expected unlike his usual high standard after he signed a lucrative new contract extension.

Some fans, pundits have blamed Aubameyang for Arsenal’s poor performances in recent weeks.

The Gabon international has failed to score goals as Arsenal sit 15th on the Premier League table.

Aubameyang’s agent shared an image on social media earlier this week blaming Arteta for the team not creating enough chances.

However, Arteta has now responded with a very clear warning and he could now axe the club captain.

“No player is undroppable in the team,” Arteta said.

“We have to pick the right set of players to win football matches.

“But we can’t forget what Aubameyang has done for the club in recent months, not years ago.

“Also, I see how he’s training and he’s behaviour, how much he wants to turn the current situation around.

“When I see that hunger, it’s about providing enough support for the player as the status he has in the team because of his performances for this football club.”

Arteta was speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League match against Dundalk today.
