Jorginho penalty and Casemiro late goal saw Chelsea play a 1-1 draw against Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game wasn’t too bad for the home side who were doing a lot of defending against their opponent who press them so badly.
Manchester United were the better side in the start of the first half which saw them creating a lot of opportunities going forward but couldn’t make it count.
Chelsea had some moments they could have gone down but Kepa Arrizabalaga was there to ensure he kept them in the match by making a solid save against Marcus Rashford.
The game balanced up as Graham Potter decided on bringing out Marc Cucurella which saw Mateo Kovacic coming in to replace the Spanish International for the remainder of the game.
Antony had a glorious opportunity of scoring a late goal but his finishing was bad as the first half ended with Chelsea 0-0 Manchester United after 45 minutes of football played.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different encounter which saw a lot happening and the two sides did well enough to make sure it all work in their favor as they carried on.
Both teams were equally matched going forward with Manchester United still maintaining ball possession while they pushed for the opener which didn’t come.
Jorginho scored from the penalty spot in the 87th minute of the game which gave Chelsea a 1-0 lead as the match continued with them facing pressure.
The match entered added time with Casemiro’s header making sure Kepa was unable to keep it out from going in which saw them coming back level 1-1 in the 90th minute plus added time.
The goal was enough to see the match ends with Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United which saw both teams sharing one point each after 90 minutes of football played.
