OFFICIAL! 2022 Ballon d’Or Women Player Of The Year Nominees [FULL LIST]

The official 2022 Ballon d’Or Women Player Of The Year Nominees list is officially released, MySportDab reports.

Current Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas leads the race, with fellow Barcelona women teammate Asisat Oshoala making their way as headliners.

Samantha Kerr of Australia and Chelsea football club also makes the top of the list of nominees as she will be gunning for the award this year.

Arsenal has the likes of Vivianne Miedema and Beth Mead also making a list for their exceptional performance for both club and country.

They fight for the best female footballer in the world as they all did make some outstanding performances.

In the Africa region, just Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala is the only representative hoping to get the crown for the first time.

The England Lionesses national team, who recently claimed the Women European Champions have three people representing them.

France has the most representatives, with four people coming out to occupy a space in the 20-woman list.

A winner will be announced later in the year as votes are expected to continue until the deadline.

Alexia Putellas claimed the Ballon d’Or award beating Samantha Kerr and others to be crowned the best women’s player of the year.

She will be looking to claim the award back to back, which would be something that could happen knowing how far she did perform in the calendar year.

More information will be made available in due time as the list is expected to be reduced to three women for one winner to be named.
