Man City have defeated Bayern Munich in their preseason match, with Erling Haaland scoring his debut goal for the Citizens, MySportDab reports.

First Half

The first started with Manchester dominating possession and mounting pressure on the German giants.

It was more attacking, with Manchester City creating more chances and dominating the opening minutes.

The English champions used hard for a goal as they outplayed their opponents in every aspect of the game.

The Bayern midfield was in shambles, and City was more deadly going forward with star striker Erling Haaland.

Man City’s pressure on the Bayern defence paid off in the 12th minute as Erling Haaland quickly slid into the net Jack Grealish’s cross, giving Man City the lead.

The Citizens continued to press for more goals, but the Bayern defence withstood the attack.

They held on till the end of the first half, with Man City going into the break with a narrow 1-0 lead.

Second Half

The second half started with a more improved Bayern Munich side.

They mounted equal pressure on the City defence, looking for an equaliser in the early minutes of the second half.

Man City equally created some series of chances as they looked to double their lead.

It was all futile efforts from both sides as they created chances but could not convert them.

Nevertheless, Man City still dominated possession and outplayed their resurgent opponents.

The game ended in a 1-0 win for the English Champions, with the Norwegian international making his debut count.
