Gavi has been seen as a prospect who has shown signs already just like others who made it through the Barcelona academy.

His current club has been doing everything possible to extend his contract with them knowing that will automatically put him off the market.

He is worth over €50 million release clause which Barcelona wants to pen a new deal that would see it rise to at least €1 billion putting him off the market for a while.

These new talks have proved abortive as nothing is yet agreed upon between them despite how things seem to be between his agent and club.

Recent events between the club and player representatives has shown that there is a lot still needed to be fixed as there is a mixed communication.

Barcelona president claimed they already tabled an offer for the player a long time ago which he is yet to sign anything with them.

But his representatives came out to rubbish such claims which they said nothing has been made to them, in fact they were hoping to hear from them.
